MAGBAGO ka KAPATID!!!

Let God transform you. (Romans 12:2 GNT)

Change only happens when you:
1) Decide to change! A newspaper asked people to answer the question: ‘What’s wrong with the world’ and someone wrote back “I am”!! Good answer! It’s true. If God kicked every person in the butt who was responsible for messing up the world nobody would be able to sit down for a week!!

2) Change the way you think! The Bible says “let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think” (Romans 12:2 NLT) The way you think affects the way you feel and the way you feel affects the way you act. When you’re thinking God thoughts you’ll act the way he wants you to. Here’s a tip – get into the bible…that’s the best way to change your thinking!

3) Take a small step everyday! We think change is gonna happen overnight… it won’t! It happens slowly. For change to work start with small things but do them everyday. And don’t get discouraged when you mess up. We all stumble about like Bambi when we’re trying to change. Read this, “there has never been a doubt in my mind that God who started this great work in you (change) would keep at it and bring to a flourishing (fancy word) finish on the very day Jesus appears” (Philippians 1:6 The Message). And don’t forget, God is there to help you.

    God said to Israel

If thou shalt say in thy heart these nations are more than I, then how can I dispose of them? If we say our problem is greater than what Jesus did for us at Calvary, then we are not walking in faith. Our problem might be sickness, sin or financial, but whatever it may be, we are to trust God to bring us through.

For the Bible says, “ Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all” So, confess God’s Word, stand on God’s Word and see yourself delivered.

The Ark will keep out the water, the Red Sea will part, Goliath will fall, the walls of Jericho will come tumbling down, because Jesus Christ has risen, He has won the victory. So, child of God, have faith, live by faith, for Jesus said,

“I will never leave you or forsake you”.

  2. thanks cornishevangelist for the sharing.

    the Lord bless you!!!

And you Yhen glad you were blessed

  4. Change starts with small things going great. And this is exactly what the Lord wants us, to think less of ourselves that we may see what what we lack, and look great ahead to see more opportunies for our growth.

  5. yup mer, He wants to see us growing in faith and believing that He is our only God and savior.

    Godbless you oweiz!!!

  6. Yhen,
You know when I was young, many years ago, I tried to live according the counsels of my parents. I thought I was good because my parameter then of beeing good –if I don’t get scolded, and if the rod is spared in a day. But as I grew older, it was not so. Reading the Bible alone, I find myself so unworthy because of my sinful nature, but then the same Book tells me I need not be despaired because God has taken away my sins. I carried this creed even in public service, as simple as being late in the office I feel so unworthy. My life is way far from a perfect one, and I don’t even dare to be so, but I believe there is always a room for improvement. And it on this perspective that I take change as a process– of unlearning, perfecting newly acquired ways, maturing from experience, and engaging yourself into a leading partnership with God. Beyond this process I don’t see any growth. As a former academic administrator (trainor/managment consultant) now, I have proven this guiding principle as effective and useful. As a change oriented manager, I saw how my faculty members grew in the academe over the years , me being their coach, and God as my Master coach. (psst… atin atin lang ito)
