a time for everything…

farewell, SMAP!

farewell, SMAP!

we will surely miss the times na dumadalaw ka sa devcom… sa mga panahong nagdadala ka ng papaya na tanim mo para may pasalubong sa amin, panggugulo mo sa office kapag last week na ng buwan, pagpapatulong sa pagprint ng accomplishment report, panlilibre ng ice cream kapag napilit ka namin, pagpapasama sa CLSU para magdinner dhl ayaw ng food sa cafeteria, pag-edit ng mga articles namin, pag include sa amin sa mga raket mo, ang signature smile mo, at ang walang humpay na pagpush sa amin na magsulat.

i dedicate this verse to you SIR SMAP and to everyone.

Ecclesiastes 3

1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

3A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

4A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

5A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

6A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

7A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

8A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

9What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?

10I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

11He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

12I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

13And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.

14I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

LET’S MAKE THE BEST OUT OF OUR LIVES.

    time is so short to spend without any meaning. so earn a life, not earn a living.

    • tama ka jan kuya dencio… lets look at the brighter side of the story… indeed kasama na niya c Lord ngayon kaya kailangan maging happy kami for him…

      salamat sa mga encouraging words…πŸ˜‰

    • haaay cnb mo pa fren… thou we wanted to tell him that he is really a good writer and we are proud of him pero di tayo bingyan ng pagkakataong sbhn yun.

      kaya ito i just made this entry as a tribute for him… makabawi manlang…

  6. time is clicking fast..indi natin alam na oras na natin pala…..may he rest in peace.

    im pretty sure mas mapapadali yung mga mga naiwan nyang plano because of person like you who supports him
    tsaka mas malapit sya kay papa JC, mas madali sya makahingi ng requestπŸ™‚

    • hehehe, natawa anman ako dun sa huli kuya… talagang mapapadali ang request eh noh? hehe…

  10. sandijmartin

    nabuhay sya ng may kabuluhan sa mundong ito at sa kanyang pagkawala ay may iiwan na man siyang isang magagandang alaala at adhikain na dapat ipagpatuloy.. with prayers..

    • yes kuya, namatay na po… nwei, its really a priviledge to have work wd him…

  13. Sorry to hear about this… But Im sure you’ll have a new mentor to look up to.

    May his soul be eternally happy.

  14. bakit naman SMAP? heheheπŸ™‚

  15. danmihalache

    Hi.
    I’d like to make you a present:
    Fallingwater; I hope you’ll like it.
    See you,
    Dan

  18. i agree wd you jem… wat is really important eh yung naibahagi niya sa mga farmers…πŸ˜‰

  19. Paul ER Pablico

    I’ve been browsing through the web and looking for other articles of SMAP when I chanced upon your blog.

    It is true that he has been a mentor to many… though he may have utilized a different approach (not unlike SRO though a little bit mellower). I am sure that many of you who have worked with and had articles edited by him would have come back to him to verify (or should I say clarified) what his marginal notes would have meant. During the wake I was observing everyone who has paid their respects, and I see that in his own way, he has imparted some of his charm (??!!!) and knowledge to each and everyone who worked with him. True that he will be missed, not only by the family, but by everyone who he has worked with.

    We will be missing his pasalubongs and his loud voice acting as an early warning device each and ever time he arrives.

    His dedication to the development communication and community development at the grassroots level is one thing we can glean from his writings. Highlighting the accomplishments and success of the filipino farmers in one way or the other contributed to encouraging others in pursuing agricultural production when all others highlight other capitalist endeavors.

    I think one of the things he really wanted to impart on every writer he has worked with is to continue focusing on agriculture and the farmers…. to encourage others to continue developing and being involved in agricultural pursuits, by letting others know through his different articles. I hope all of you would. As a human settlements planner, I also believe that for the country to develop, we must first develop the grassroots… agriculture and fisheries are the foundations….

    In behalf of his wife Bobbie, my wife Tess, his grand daughter Alexisse and the rest of our family, I thank you for your condolences and how you remembered him…

    • thanks sir paul for sharing some thoughts here…

      surely SMAP have left a good mark on everyone of us who shared a part of him.

      again, condolence to you and your family.

      Godbless.

  20. Alexisse Pablico

    Thank you everyone for the praises you said about my grandfather. The day the call came, everyone of us were shocked. My dad told us what happened during his stay at the hospital. I really admired his dedication to his work. Although I don’t see him that often, I knew how he showed his dedication to his work. I hope he is happy now… in heaven
