WHY WE ARE DOING THIS CAMPAIGN/MOVEMENT?

Because…

SPOONFUL OF RICE

Every Filipino wastes about 3 tbsp cooked rice (14g of uncooked rice) daily.

14 g/day = 5.11 kg of rice wasted per person annually [Ang isang tao ay tinatayang nakapag aaksaya ng 5.11 kg bigas taon taon (14g x 365 days = 5.11kg)]

BOWL OF RICE

Value of import savings if rice is not wasted = 9.6 billion pesos [9.6 bilyong piso ang matitipid sa pag-aangkat ng bigas kapag maiiwasan ang pag-aaksaya ng bawat Pilipino]

RICE IMPORTS

If saved, this much rice can feed 4.3 million hungry Filipinos per year.

ONE OF THE MILLION HUNGRY FILIPINOS

Act now! Coz with every rice you save, lives are saved.
EVERY GRAIN COUNTS! [Bawat butil ay buhay, Huwag sayangin!]
Please have this info disseminated. Thank you very much po!
Have a RICE day!

  1. I really love your blog. Excellent job!

  2. Good blog! I genuinely love how it is easy on my eyes and also the data are well written. I am wondering how I may be notified whenever a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your rss feed which should do the trick! Have a nice day!
