Don’t you just miss the good old days? It’s always nice to look back the past. You’ll suddenly realize that bcoz of it, you are what you are today – stronger, braver, and way much better.

…then, after your realizations you’ll just begin smiling as you also remember the people who became part of your life. So here’s to being melancholic…

complexities…

…from the rootword COMPLEX, in a psychological point of view it is defined as a system of interrelated emotion-charged ideas, feelings, memories, and impulses that is usually repressed and that gives rise to abnormal or pathological behavior.

tough words, indeed. but i prefer using the word COMPLICATED as a definition to synonymously adhere to the word COMPLEXITY. let me ask you this, have you encountered someone with such complexities? well, the answer obviously yes, who wouldn’t? di ba? this world is composed of different kinds of people with individual way of thinking and rationale, so expect the unexpected.

i actually couldn’t get the right answers to the question tickling my mind “bakit ba kailangang may mga ganung klase ng tao?” how would you deal with these kind of people? or should i say these complicated/complexed and difficult kind of people?

OPINION MO…

Yesterday was  another big day to some 15,000 Filipinos who actively participated in a rally against chacha or conass.

As I was browsing the net, natagpuan ko ang isang article sa Inquirer na pinamagatan How the students want their President to be?

And here are some of their answers:

“Someone of great moral integrity- who is able to gain the trust (and support) of the people even if one’s decisions are contrary to the public mood.”
-Anthony Paul Pasia, Ateneo de Davao University 2006

who will be the NEXT BIG THING?

“I want a leader with strong ethical and moral standards, someone who has a word of honor in terms of standing up for the rights of the people and to serve the common good.”

-Tieza Santos, Ateneo de Manila University 2006

“I’m looking for a leader who is good in his action not only to what he preaches and exhibits a kind of leadership which comes from the heart, for service and not for the popularity or money.”
-Dun King Saucejo, Ateneo de Davao University 2008

Ayan so if I were to ask you HOW DO WE WANT OUR PRESIDENT TO BE? what would be your response?

Ano nga ba ang hinahanap natin sa isang Presidente? Sino nga ba ang may ganitong katangian?

I Believe

Author Unknown

I Believe…
That just because two people argue, doesn’t mean they don’t love each other.
And just because they don’t argue, doesn’t mean they do love each other.

I Believe…
That we don’t have to change friends if we understand that friends change.

I Believe…
That no matter how good a friend is, they’re going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

I Believe…
That true friendship continues to grow, even the longest distance. Same goes for true love.

I Believe….
That you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.

I Believe…
That it’s taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.

I Believe…
That you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.

I Believe…
That you can keep going long after you think you can’t.

I Believe…
That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.

I Believe…
That either you control your attitude or it controls you.

I Believe…
That heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.

I Believe…
That money is a lousy way of keeping score.

I Believe…
That my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.

I Believe…
That sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you’re down, will be the ones to help you get back up.

I Believe…
That sometimes when I’m angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn’t give me the right to be cruel.

I Believe…
That maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you’ve had and what you’ve learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you’ve celebrated.

I Believe…
That it isn’t always enough,to be forgiven by others.Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I Believe…
That no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn’t stop for your grief.

I Believe…
That our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but, we are responsible for who we become.

I Believe…
That you shouldn’t be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life Forever.

I Believe…
Two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

I Believe…
That your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don’t even know you.

I Believe…
That even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you – you will find the strength to help.

I Believe…
That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

I Believe…
The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything 🙂
we just make the most of everything.

rice matters… and others, too!

November 26, 2008, Rice Garden at the Luneta Park – To conclude the Rice Awareness Month Celebration, a Ceremonial Harvesting was held at the Rice Garden. This activity aims to increase awareness among the people in the urban areas like Manila. Gracing the event were Hon. Arthur C. Yap, Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, Atty. Ronilo A. Beronio, PhilRice Executive Director, and Dr. Rhoda Lantin from the Asia Rice Foundation. The activity was participated by the different highschools and elementary schools located in Metro Manila, still believing that “ang kabataan ay pag-asa ng bayan”, words from the famous Fr. Jose Rizal.

Students presented a dance depicting a life of a farmer wherein planting up to harvesting was presented. It was a colorful and a fun activity where rice is the subject, emphasizing that indeed RICE is LIFE! Every Filipino, matanda man o bata, should and must know and learn the value of rice in our lives.

on the other hand naman, me and my friend erik also got the chance to glance the Manila Ocean Park, thou we really didn’t go inside the acquarium, at least we had a chance to take a picture outside with the landmark and the Manila Bay on the other side of the building.

We ate lunch here and saw Christmas decors inside, and yes i realized that Christmas is fast approaching. Grabeh, i said to myself, “ang bilis talaga ng panahon.” Parang kelan lang, oh man! I’m starting to feel na tumatanda na pala talaga tayo kasi sabi nga ni bob ong when you are trying to compare yourself already sa panahon mo noon signs daw yun na tumatanda na tayo. Anyway, ayos lang ganun talaga ang buhay. Back to my topic, yes its Christmas na, ano kaya ang plan ko sa buhay ngayong pasko?

larawan370

Ayan, so another work and play activity we had there. I love my work, I got the chance to do my work and at the same time visit places and meet people from different walks of life.

SO paano ba yan? naka isip ka na ba ng plano mo ngayong pasko? 😉

abot-tanaw na pag ibig…

The best lovers are those who are capable of loving from a distance, far enough to allow the other person to grow, but never to far to feel the love deep with in your being. To let go of someone doesn’t mean you have to stop loving, it only means that you allow that person to find her own happiness without expecting her to comeback. letting go is not just setting the other person free, but it is also setting yourself free from all the bitterness, hatred, and anger that keep in your heart.

Do not let the bitterness rare away your strength and weaken your faith, and never allow pain to dishearten you. but rather let you grow with wisdom in bearing it. you may found peace in just loving someone from a distance not expecting anything in return. But be careful for this can sustain life but can never give enough room for us to grow.
We can all survive with just beautiful memories of the past but real peace and happiness come only with open acceptance of what is reality is today.

Always remember that if you lose someone today, it means that someone better is coming tomorrow. if you lose love today its doesn’t mean that you failed in love.
Cry, If you have to, but make it sure that the tears washed away the hurt and the bitterness that the past had left with you.

Let go of yesterday and love will find its way back to you.
And when it does, pray that it may be the love that will stay and last a lifetime.
